Duke Summer Research Showcase

Our REU students participated in the Duke Summer Research Showcase that took place on July 28 in the Penn Pavilion. Over 12 summer programs participated in the showcase. During the event our students were able to share their findings with the Duke community.
Weekly events

Our REU participants attended weekly meetings which consisted of a combination of professional development workshops and research seminars. Our first seminar of the summer was provided by Prof. Aaron Franklin, who introduced the students to a new era of electronics using nanomaterials.
Pratt REU programs begin
August 9, 2023
Our REU Meeting for the Grand Challenges summer program started on May 30 with a brief orientation. During the day our students were introduced to the Grand Challenges of Engineering, toured our campus, met their faculty mentors and lab teams.
